Season Info :
Black Mirror, the acclaimed anthology series that taps into our collective unease about the modern world, comes to Netflix for its long-awaited third season. Touted by Stephen King as "terrifying, funny, intelligent" and "like The Twilight Zone," each stand-alone episode blends themes of technology, anxiety and human relationships, leading to an unforgettable -- and sometimes unsettling -- conclusion.

My Review :
First of all this season can be watched with out thinking what happened in previous seasons. Every episode of black mirror is a unique in its way. Black Mirror continues to improve with each season and season 3 has been generally outstanding. Ranging from ratings obsessed societies, to online blackmail and simulated realities for the elderly, this season deals with a range of issues in modern society often in a very emotional and heightened manner and they are all thoroughly engaging and entertaining . All of the episodes this season are good but some are truly exceptional, namely San Junipero and Hated in the Nation. Although there is usually a dark undertone in every Black Mirror episode, there are also a nice mixture of genres in this season, with romance, action, thriller and a dash of horror. The weakest episodes, Men against Fire and Nosedive are not bad by any means but their plots are fairly predictable and a little underwhelming compared to the other episodes. Overall, this is the strongest season so far and I eagerly await the next season.
My Rating :
A Solid Season
